Degenerative myelopathy (DM) is progressive, irreversible, and often difficult to diagnose. The decisions made early on directly impact how long a patient may remain ambulatory.
Attendees will learn what every general practitioner needs to know about DM: How to recognize it, how to rule out similar conditions, and how your early clinical judgment can meaningfully change the trajectory of their quality of life. Current clinical research, including the effects of laser therapy on DM, will also be discussed.
